James has been named a semifinalist for the Rotary Lombardi Award, which is given to the country’s top lineman or linebacker. LSU’s Glenn Dorsey won the award last year. James is the only returning finalist from last year’s group, as well as the only representative from the Big Ten Conference.

This year’s award dinner will be held on December 10 at the Hilton Americas Hotel in Downtown Houston.
