Buckeyes Continue Road Win Streak in Champaign

Ohio State extended its Big Ten road win streak with a dominant 30-20 win over the Fighting Illini. This was a must-win for the team to stay alive in their quest to grab part of the Big Ten Championship title.

James had another great day for the team, making plays all over the field. 8 total tackles (5 solo), a forced fumble, and 1.5 tackles for losses. His unit gave up the most yards of the season as Illinois ate up 455 yards. However a couple of turnovers and frequent pressure on the QB made the difference for the team as Ohio State exacted revenge from last year’s upset in Columbus.

Malcolm Jenkins blocked a punt early on for a safety. Tyler Moeller forced the lone fumble, which was recovered by Nader Abdallah, while Kurt Coleman recorded his 4th INT of the year. The offense was led by Beanie Wells and Terrelle Pryor, who both rushed for over 100 yards.

Next week is “The Game”. No real intro needed. It’s the game where James hopefully earns his 4th pair of gold pants ;)
