Ready For Michigan

It’s going to be tough to watch this game, knowing it’s the last time James will run out of the tunnel at the ‘Shoe. I expect, not only an emotional scene pregame, but an impressive showing on the field. These seniors want to end their OSU careers without having experienced a loss to the rival Wolverines and I expect that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

Michigan’s offense is hurting. They will be led by their backup QB, who is a former walk-on. And their top offensive lineman is probably going to miss the game after an injury a couple of days ago. That spells trouble for the Wolverines. I think James and his teammates take full advantage and put forth one of their strongest performances of the season. They’ve consistently gotten better each week and I hope that trend continues.

The Columbus Dispatch had a wonderful story where the seniors looked back at their Ohio State careers. Here’s what James had to say:

“It’s this experience, you come back for the journey (he could have left after last season for the NFL but returned for his senior year), no matter which way the journey goes. Each season is a journey, and there are memories that have happened this year that I am going to take with me the rest of my life. I have had so much fun this year with the guys and the experiences, and it will be so much fun to round this one up.”

Here’s to a great game, and James earning another pair of those gold pants. The game will air at noon (ET) on ABC. Go Bucks!
